Driver CPC Training UK wide

Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) training can be arranged in any location within the UK. We aim to provide the best possible training rate available for a top level service. We understand that the driver CPC training is an important compulsory exercise in today’s transport and haulage industry, but we also believe that the price is equally as important. That’s why we aim not only to provide inexpensive driver CPC training, but also good quality training using fully qualified and experienced trainers or instructors. We do this by cutting out the middle man. When it comes to training we don’t have large overheads or premises to maintain, so we don’t need to charge large amounts of commission. We can simply hire a suitable venue within your area or use your facility, and this all keeps the price of your costs to an absolute minimum.

Drivers Qualification Card
Driver CPC Training

All those drivers (LGV only) who have the licence prior to 09th September 2009 must complete their driver CPC by September 2014. These courses are for drivers who are intending to work as a professional driver.
(This means driving a truck for a living)

Above. Drivers Qualification Card (DQC)
Issued to drivers who have completed all
(35 hours) of the periodic training.

The Driver CPC qualification:
The Driver CPC is a qualification for all professional bus, coach and lorry drivers. It has been designed to develop your knowledge and skills throughout your working life
and to improve road safety through better qualified drivers

The Driver CPC Periodic Training:
You must do 35 hours of periodic training every five years to keep your Driver CPC. Periodic training involves attending courses on various aspects of professional driving. You must do 35 hours of periodic training every five years to keep your Driver CPC. Only approved courses (see above) taken with approved training centres such as Catzeyes haulage Ltd will count towards your periodic training. If you drive both trucks and buses professionally for a living then you only need to complete one set of training every five years.

Periodic training is designed to:
Complement your work, be appropriate to your everyday job, keep you up to date with changes in regulations and there is no test to pass. All courses can be practical or classroom based It's up to you to decide which courses you attend and when you attend them, however, you must do 35 hours of periodic training every five years to be able to drive professionally. Each five-year period starts from when your current Driver CPC qualification runs out - not from the date you completed your 35 hours training.
There's no benefit in delaying your periodic training - the sooner you train, the sooner your knowledge and skills will be updated and refreshed.

When is the Driver CPC not required?
